Chris Conner, Turf
and Ornamental Division Manager at Basnight Land & Lawn,
Inc., has been in the “green industry” for approximately
ten years. He
served as a route technician with Barefoot Grass Lawn Service
for approximately three years.
In this role Chris solved customer service problems
and treated various turf grass types throughout the Hampton
Roads area. He
then served as an area manager for one year with this same
company. As
Area Manager he was responsible for overseeing the turf
and ornamental programs.
Chris then became a branch manager within Barefoot
Grass Lawn Service, which entailed a higher level of business
responsibility.
Just before joining our staff here at Basnight Land &
Lawn, Inc. Chris served as a field representative for Lesco,
Inc. This job
involved consulting with other companies to identify the
nature of problems experienced and the to advise them on
the proper products to use to treat these various problems
in turf and shrubs.
Chris
has a Category 3 commercial applicator license (#67926-C)
and has operated in three different states.
He is also authorized by the state of Virginia to
educate others and administer tests for registered technicians
and category 3 applicators. Any of our employees that work
with him to treat turf or shrubs are registered technicians.
