Christian has been a growing force
of Basnight Land & Lawn for nearly 12 years. At an
early age he was given the opportunity to witness the
tremendous growth and evolution of Basnight Land &
Lawn by working for his brother and owner of the company,
Kent Basnight. Christian's part-time work during summer
months paved the way to his successful career as a Landscape
Professional.
He graduated
from Great Bridge in 1996. His studies were accompanied
by years of rigorous training, resulting in District,
Regional and State Championship titles. He went forth
as the Virginia State Wrestling Champion to persue additional
victories at Virginia Tech. After placing in many college
tournaments, he took 1st in the Virginia State College
Championship. Christian was awarded the Virginia Tech
Wrestling Outstanding Senior Award for the year 2000.
Christian's
wrestling career, however, was not the only area Christian
demonstrated excellence and extreme devotion. He began
to persue his true passion, designing and developing the
land. Christian studied both Horticulure and Landscape
Architecture while attending Virginia Tech.
