Establish bed areas by painting the bed lines in the proposed areas.
Determine if the existing vegetation will be removed or sprayed based on the type vegetation and the time of year.
Establish bed edges using a flat head shovel cutting into the soil at a forty- five degree angle. The soil from edging will be placed in the new bed areas and tilled
later.
Roto-till all the beds turning over the existing soil, removing any debris during this process.
Add soil amendments such as compost, peat moss and perlite based on the soil structure &content.
Fine grade the bed areas, directing water to drain to areas away from the house or other undesired areas.
Supply and install trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals based on the approved landscape design.
Fertilize plant material with slow release fertilizer tablets.
Apply the desired mulch to a depth of three inches.
Stake and guy trees with oak stakes and guying wire.
Water plants thoroughly and clean all work areas.
