First, we ask interested homeowners to loan us a copy of a physical survey or plot plan of their property so that we may scan it into our computer drafting database to create a scaled site plan to use as our base drawing. We generally need to do this before one of our design staff members schedules a meeting with a homeowner. In this way, we are able to calculate the necessary square footage figures of a property before the initial meeting with the prospective client.
